Highlighting the main event was the UFC Heavyweight title bout between Brazilian Junior “Cigano” dos Santos and Mexican-American Cain Velasquez

Last December 29, 2012, Cain became the new UFC Heavyweight title holder by winning over Junior by Unanimous Decision with the following judges’ score cards; 50-45, 50-43, 50-44.

In the co-main event, Jim Miller defeated Joe “J-Lau” Lauzon via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).
