The third day of the London 2012 men’s basketball competition was held last August 2, 2012.
After a 110-63 win over Tunisia, the United States of America men’s national basketball team faced the team from Nigeria in the sixth game of day three preliminary round at the Basketball Arena in Olympic Park in Stratford, London, England, United Kingdom.
USA defeated Nigeria with a final score of 156-73.
Carmelo Anthony scored a game-high 37 points while Russell Westbrook added 21, Kobe Bryant, 16, Kevin Love, 15, Kevin Durant, 14 and Deron Williams, 13 points with 11 assists.
On a losing effort, Ike Diogu scored a team-high 27 points.
