The 65th Bellator MMA event is coming up this April 2012! Bantamweight Champion Zach Makovsky headlines this event as he defends his title against Eduardo Dantas. Also, this event will showcase the second round of the featherweight and first round of the bantamweight tournaments to be held over the duration of Season Six.
Bellator LXV is scheduled to happen on April 13, 2012. Watch it live at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA and on MTV2 and Epix2.
The fight card features one championship match, semifinal round in the Season Six Featherweight Tournament and the quarterfinal round in the Season Six Bantamweight Tournament.
On the Zach Makovsky vs. Eduardo Dantas, Zach defends his Bantamweight Championship belt for the first time against Eduardo.
Then, for the semifinal match-up; Mike Corey vs. Daniel Straus (Featherweight) while on the quaterfinal match-ups; Ed West vs. Marcos Galvao (Bantamweight) and Alexis Vila vs. Luis Nogueira (Bantamweight).
This event also includes non-tournament Local Feature Fights on varied weight divisions; Kenny Foster vs. Jay Haas (Featherweight), Duane Bastress vs. Plinio Cruz (Middleweight), Scott Heckman vs. Lester Caslow (Featherweight), Andy Main vs. Will Martinez (Featherweight), Emanuel Brooks vs. Mikhail Malyutin (Lightweight), Lyman Good vs. LeVon Maynard (Welterweight) and Ailton Barbosa vs. Kris McCray (Welterweight).
The local featured fights are going to be aired on Spike.com.
