The previous episode 1 of On Freddie Roach began on the fight week of the light welterweight title unification bout between Amir Khan and Zab Judah.
Khan underwent rigorous training as Freddie along with strength and conditioning coach Alex Ariza guided him in preparation for his upcoming match.
As the bout closes in, they attended open work-out sessions and pre-fight press conference.
Meanwhile, almost a day prior to the match while eating at a restaurant, Freddie got pissed off to his manager/ex-girlfriend because she was doing email while eating.
Then on fight night, Roach carefully prepared his boxer’s hand wraps a few hours prior to his bout. On the match, Amir Khan defeated Zab Judah by 5th Round KO to unify the junior welterweight titles.
On the next scene, Freddie attended the U.S. Boxing Writers’ Awards and gave a speech.
Back in Hollywood, Freddie took his medication early in the morning then narrated about how he got his illness, Parkinson’s disease.
His manager then accompanied him to a hospital for scheduled treatment. The episode ended at the Wild Card Boxing Gym as he trains his boxers.
