A reality documentary series by renowned filmmaker Peter Berg and HBO is coming up this January.
World-famous boxing trainer, Freddie Roach, who owns the famed Wild Card Boxing Club/Gym in LA as well as a former professional boxer himself is the one featured in this six part series.
On Freddie Roach Episode 1 premiere is scheduled to air on January 20, 2012 live at 9:30 PM ET / PT on HBO then, it will be replayed on multiple dates.
The premiere of the new cinéma-vérité boxing series introduces the life of Roach, a boxing trainer and a Parkinson’s disease patient.
In his coaching career, he has produced a number of world champions including pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao, Amir Khan and Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr to name a few.
Freddie has also been honored as the BWAA Trainer of the Year five times and has been inducted into the World Boxing Hall of Fame.
