Highlighting the main event was the UFC Lightweight title bout between Americans Frankie “The Answer” Edgar and Gray “The Bully” Maynard.
Last October 8, 2011, Frankie successfully defended his UFC title for the third time by winning over Gray by 4th Round Technical Knock Out in their trilogy.
In the co-main event, Jose “Scarface” Aldo defended his featherweight belt for the second time against Kenny “Ken-Flo” Florian by Unanimous Decision.
