Fourteen months after his previous bout, Chael Sonnen is going to fight once again inside the octagon.
He will face Brian Stann who won five of his last six matches.

He’s a former WEC Light Heavyweight Champion and his last fight was a 2nd Round TKO win over Jorge Santiago, May 2011.
The Sonnen vs Stann video will be an Ultimate Fighting Championship title eliminator match.
In his previous bout, Chael almost becomes the new middleweight champ as he dominated Anderson Silva for over four rounds. Unfortunately, he was caught into a triangle armbar with less than two minutes left in the final round and was forced to tap.
After that very exciting match, Sonnen failed the post-fight tests provided by the governing commission and, was fined and suspended for a certain amount of time.
Apart from that, Chael pled guilty to charges in connection to his work as a licensed realtor. He was expected to fight last March but his bout was postponed after the UFC put his contract on hold following his controversy.
Fourteen months after his last bout, he’s set to fight inside the octagon again, this time against the heavy-handed Brian who made a noise in the middleweight division in his last three matches.
