Star Power: Mayweather vs Ortiz Fight Card and Undercard

The main event of the HBO pay-per-view boxing event this September features Victor Ortiz as he defends his WBC World Welterweight title against Floyd Mayweather, Jr..

The former hasn’t lost since late 2009 and has won five of his last six matches while the latter hasn’t fought in over sixteen months.

Victor won his first world title via a Unanimous Decision on Berto vs Ortiz last April 2011 while Floyd had a dominating Unanimous Decision victory on Mayweather vs Mosley in May 2010.

Which boxers among the Star Power: Mayweather vs Ortiz main fight card results in a victory? The event is going to be held on September 17, 2011 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Also in the co-main event, Saul “Canelo” Alvarez will defend his WBC World Super Welterweight championship title against Alfonso Gomez. Note that this bout is going to be held separately at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

Jones defeated Ouali via 7th round RTD.
