Light Heavyweight champ Jon Jones is going to defend his UFC title belt for the first time this September.
With a four-bout win streak, he will face former champion Quinton Jackson who won four of his last five matches.
The MMA light heavyweight title Jon Jones vs Quinton “Rampage” Jackson fight video is set to take place on September 24, 2011 live at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado, USA and on PPV (Pay-Per-View).

He’s the current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and his last fight was a 3rd Round TKO win on Shogun vs Jones, March 2011.
While Quinton Jackson, “Rampage”, also from United States of America, the #4 Light Heavyweight in the world as ranked by the same site has a mixed martial arts record of 32 wins (14 by way of knock out, 7 by submission) and 8 losses. He’s the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and his last fight was a Unanimous Decision win on Rampage vs Hamill, May 2011.
The Jones vs Rampage video will be an Ultimate Fighting Championship title match with Jon’s belt at stake.
Jon’s first title defense was expected to be against Rashad Evans at UFC 133 last August but he was sidelined with a hand injury suffered from his previous bout.
Initially, it was announced that Jones’ injury would require surgery, but he opted for rest and rehabilitation without surgery after further consultations with doctors.
Jon’s hand injury was originally thought to keep him out of action until late 2011, but instead, he is set to make his first title defense against former light heavyweight champ Rampage Jackson in this event.
After losing his belt in 2008, Quinton now has a chance of recapturing the title.
