The Mayweather vs Ortiz video will be a welterweight division title match with Victor’s WBC belt at stake.

Floyd hasn’t lost in his forty-one professional boxing bouts. In 2008, he retired from the sport but came back inside the boxing after twenty-one months in 2009.

Since then, he only fought twice prior to this upcoming match and his last bout was sixteen months ago. Nevertheless, in both fights, Mayweather showed that he’s unaffected of ring rust as he dominated his opponents; a Mexican legend but a natural lightweight and an American aging welterweight champion.

This time, Floyd will face a young, strong and fully-blown newly crowned welterweight champ Victor Ortiz who will defend his belt for the first time.

After suffering a devastating loss in the hands of an Argentinian boxing star in 2009, Victor racked up four straight victories and one draw in the junior welterweight class.

Ortiz then moved up in weight last April and challenged the then WBC World Welterweight Champion, and won by Unanimous Decision in a “Fight of the Year” performance to capture his first world title.

Now, Victor will face the biggest fight of his career in his first title defense against the former top pound-for-pound boxer in the world and five-division world champ. Will he hand Floyd his first professional loss? Or will he be dominated by the slick defensive boxer?

This fight’s promotion includes a Face-Off with Max Kellerman and 24/7: Mayweather-Ortiz.
