The 52nd Bellator MMA event is coming up on October 2011! This event will showcase the first round of an eight-man heavyweight tournament to be held over the duration of Season Five.
Bellator 52 (LII) is scheduled to happen on October 1, 2011. Watch it live at the L’Auberge du Lac Casino Resort in Lake Charles, Louisiana, USA and on MTV2.
The fight card features the quarterfinal round in the Season Five Heavyweight Tournament.
For the quarterfinal match-ups; Neil Grove vs. Mike Hayes, Blagoi Ivanov vs. Thiago Santos, Eric Prindle vs. Abe Wagner and Mark Holata vs. Ron Sparks.
This event also includes non-tournament Local Feature Fights on varied weight divisions; Genair da Silva vs. Bryan Goldsby (Featherweight), Cosmo Alexandre vs. Josh Quayhagen (Lightweight), Josh Burns vs. Zak Jensen (Heavyweight), Liron Wilson vs. Justin Frazier (Heavyweight) and Matt Van Buren vs. Nick Nichols (Light Heavyweight)
The local featured fights are going to be aired on Spike TV.
