Bahrain vs Philippines 2011 FIBA Asia Championship Preliminary Round Highlights

The third day of the 2011 FIBA Asia Championship tournament was held last September 17, 2011.

After a 60-75 loss to China, the Philippine national basketball team faced Bahrain in the second game of day three preliminary round at the Wuhan Sports Centre in Wuhan, Hubei, China.

Smart Gilas Pilipinas defeated Bahrain with a final score of 113-71.

Japeth Aguilar scored a game-high 21 points with 12 rebounds while Marcus Douthit added 18 and 9 boards, JV Casio, 15, Asi Taulava, 13, Ranidel de Ocampo, also 13, Mac Baracael, 11 and Chris Tiu, 10.

On a losing effort, Bader Malabes scored a team-high 15 points and dished out 7 assists.
