Among the 2011 NCAA Final Four division one college basketball teams, two teams remain to face each other in this year’s national championship game.
The West Regional Champions Connecticut defeated Kentucky Wildcats of East while the Southeast champs Butler defeated VCU Rams from Southwest to finally reach this point.
The Connecticut Huskies vs Butler Bulldogs 2011 NCAA Finals game is set to happen on April 4, 2011 at the Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas, USA.
The Connecticut Huskies failed to make it into the NCAA tournament last year but this year, they have a chance to capture their third title. UConn already won two championships in 1999 and in 2004.
On the other hand, the Butler Bulldogs are going to play in their second consecutive NCAA Finals game. They came up short in winning the trophy last year against the Duke Blue Devils in a very close ball game. Now they have another chance to finally get what their aiming for.

Huskies defeated Bulldogs with a final score of 53-41 to become the 2011 NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Tournament National Champions.
The tournament’s Most Outstanding Player Kemba Walker led UConn with 16 points while freshman Jeremy Lamb added 12 in the 2nd half.
It was a very defensive game, with Butler scoring the fewest points in a championship game since 1949. Butler led at halftime 22–19, but suffered in the second half from poor shooting, making only 6 of 37 shots in the second half.
The Bulldogs’ 18.8 percent shooting for the entire game was the lowest ever in the NCAA finals history.
Connecticut now has three NCAA titles, two back in 1999 and 2004. All three trophies were won under head coach Jim Calhoun.
