Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar and Junior dos Santos are the two opposing coaches of the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter.
Open tryouts was held last November 4, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The casting call went out for welterweight and middleweight fighters who have at least three professional fights and must be at least 21 years of age. However, all fighters for this show will be in the welterweight division.
The thirteenth season of the Ultimate Fighting Championship produced reality television series is labeled as The Ultimate Fighter: Team Lesnar vs Team dos Santos and is going to be aired on Spike TV.
Unlike the two previous seasons, the TUF Season 13 will not feature an elimination round.
However, the “wild card” selections introduced in The Ultimate Fighter Season 11 and also applied in The Ultimate Fighter Season 12 will still be featured.
As there will be no elimination round, the initial TUF 13 cast will be fourteen rather than the usual sixteen, twenty-eight or thirty-two in previous installments.

Team Lesnar
- Len Bentley, Charlie Rader, Tony Ferguson, Clay Harvison, Chris Cope, Nordin Asrih, Chuck O’Neil (replaced Myles Jury).
Team dos Santos
- Shamar Bailey, Ryan McGillivray, Javier Torres, Ramsey Nijem, Zach Davis, Mick Bowman, Justin Edwards (replaced Keon Caldwell).
Removed due to injury
- Myles Jury – torn ACL, left in Episode 1
- Keon Caldwell – family reasons, left in Episode 2.
The Team Lesnar coaching team includes Marty Morgan, Erik Paulson, Rodrigo Medeiros, Greg Nelson and Chris “Mayhem” Manos.
On the other hand, Billy Scheibe, Luiz Dorea and Lew Polley complete the Team dos Santos coaches.
The TUF Season 13 Episode 1 Premiere – Something To Prove is scheduled to air on March 30, 2011 at 9 PM ET / 8 CT on Spike TV. It will then be followed up by new parts every Wednesdays after that.
Episode 2 – Suck It Up on April 6, then Episode 3 – Chicken Salad on April 13, Episode 4 – A Bad Dream on April 20, Episode 5 – Wow Me on April 27.
Episode 6 – Mean Streak on May 4, Episode 7 – It’s Just Good to Win on May 11, Episode 8 – Shut Him Up on May 18, Episode 9 – Then It Turned Ugly on May 25.
And Episode 10 – The Biggest Test on June 1.
Then after the series, the TUF 13 Finale live stream will be held at The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA on June 4, 2011.
After this, TUF Season 14 starts on September 21, 2011.
