Two championship bouts will happen in the last live event of the World Extreme Cagefighting as WEC already merged with UFC a few weeks ago.
The WEC 53: Henderson vs Pettis live stream video will be available on Versus on December 16, 2010. You can also watch it live at the Jobing.com Arena in the Phoenix suburb of Glendale, Arizona, USA.
In the main event, Ben Henderson will defend his WEC Lightweight title against Anthony Pettis then the winner will face the winner of the UFC 125′s Frankie Edgar versus Gray Maynard in a championship unification match next year.
While in the co-main event, Bantamweight champ Dominick Cruz will defend his belt for the last time against Scott Jorgensen. The winner will be recognized as the UFC Bantamweight Champion.
Also in the stream of the WEC 53 card, Donald Cerrone, Kamal Shalorus, Jamie Varner and the undefeated Zhang Tie Quan will be on action on fight night.
This event is unique as they allowed the fans to choose the venue from 30 options. The finalists were Milwaukee, Phoenix and Nashville with Phoenix announced as the winner and it will be the first time that Zuffa hosted an event in Arizona.
