The UFC 124 Countdown featuring St-Pierre vs Koscheck 2 gives a preview of the UFC Welterweight Champion and the top contender that are going to battle out on the main event on Saturday night, December 11, 2010 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
After Georges St-Pierre aka “Rush” lost his title against Matt Hughes, he defeated Josh in their first meeting last August 2007 by out-wrestling him. He then went on to regain his belt back and defended it a couple of times.
Josh Koscheck aka “Kos” on the other hand had his ups and downs after that loss to GSP but eventually built his status and got the #1 title contendership by winning on the Koscheck vs Daley last May. Then he and Georges became coaches of the recently concluded The Ultimate Fighter season 12.
Can the challenger prove that he’s a better all-around fighter now than before by winning the UFC Welterweight world title? The countdown begins as their match-up is just a few days away.
The UFC 124 Countdown also previews the other bouts in the main card such as the match between Thiago Alves and John Howard as well as the bout between Stefan Struve and Sean McCorkle.
