Yuriorkis Gamboa (19-0-0) defeated Orlando Salido (34-11-2) via Unanimous Decision (UD) to win the vacant IBF World Featherweight title and retain his WBA World Featherweight title belt.
The judges’ score cards were 116-109, 114-109 and 115-109, all in favor of Gamboa.
Note that the IBF title was at stake only for Gamboa because Salido was stripped off his belt before the fight for weighing more than ten pounds over the weight limit at a second weigh-in on the morning of the event.
