The UFC 119: Mir vs Cro Cop is just a few days away so set your timers and begin the countdown for another Ultimate Fighting Championship event!
The main event features former UFC Heavyweight champion, Frank Mir, as he faces Mirko Filipovic in the octagon on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA.

Brief intro about this event. Mir’s opponent for this bout was suppose to be Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira in a rematch, but the latter had to pull out of this bout due to an injury that will require surgery that was later reported to be a recurring hip injury. Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic has been lined up to replace Nogueira after successfully winning his fight at UFC 115. Even though Filipovic stated that he doesn’t expect to be 100% because of joining the card on late notice, he did not want to let down his fans and the UFC management.
