The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s MMA superstar, Georges St-Pierre will be coming to Manila, Philippines starting September 23 on a 3-day visit for a meet-and-greet event with local fans.

The GSP Hits Manila: Experience the Rush is set to happen on September 25, 2010 live at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Music Hall in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines starting at 2:30 PM (GMT+8).

Georges St-Pierre, also known as “GSP” and “Rush” from Canada is the #1 Welterweight and the #2 pound-for-pound MMA fighter in the world as ranked by Sherdog while Yahoo! Sports ranked him as the top pound-for-pound.

GSP currently has a mixed martial arts record of 20 wins (8 by way of knockout, 5 by submission, 7 by decision) and 2 losses. He is the current UFC Welterweight Champion and his last fight was a Unanimous Decision win over Dan Hardy at UFC 111, March 2010.

St-Pierre is one of the two coaches of the recently aired reality television series produced by UFC, The Ultimate Fighter Season 12. After this show, he is expected to defend his title belt against opposing coach, Josh Koscheck, in a rematch at UFC 124 video most probably in December.
