The most ambitious and largest NBA (National Basketball Association) event in the Philippines will happen again in Manila for the second straight year. This is an exhibition game featuring two teams composed of NBA Legends, NBA Development League (D-League) players and PBA (Philippine Basketball Association) Legends and All-Stars.

The NBA Asia Challenge 2010 is set to happen on August 27, 2010 live at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. Door opens at 6:00 PM and the official game time starts on 7:30 PM (GMT+8).

Last year, the NBA Generations team led by legends, Robert Horry, Dominique Wilkins, Tim Hardaway and Vlade Divac defeated the PBA All-Stars team led by legends, Allan Caidic, Alvin Patrimonio, Benjie Paras, Ronnie Magsanoc and Kenneth Duremdes with a final score of 109-86.

NBA Asia Challenge 2010 PBA free live online stream streaming video replay highlights results line-up roster

For NBA Asia Challenge 2010, a mixed line-up roster composed of NBA and PBA Legends, NBDL players and active PBA All-Stars will be applied unlike last year, NBA team vs PBA team.

The NBA Legends who are going to play for this year’s event include; 2006 NBA Champion and 9-time All-Star Gary Payton, 6-time All-Star Chris Webber, 2002 NBA champion and 6-time All-Star Mitch Richmond, and 2000 NBA champion and 1997 All-Star Game MVP Glen Rice.

While for the PBA Legends, Allan Caidic, Ronnie Magsanoc, Benjie Paras and Alvin Patrimonio will be back to play again. Vergel Meneses and Atoy Co will also join the squad this year.

The Red Team defeated the White Team with a final score of 177-167.

Allan “The Triggerman” Caidic led the Red with a game-high 54 points. He put on a Friday night outside sniping show as he unleashed a barrage of three-pointers and made 14 of them. His teammate Glen Rice added 19 points to back up Caidic.

On a losing effort, White’s Chris Webber scored a team-high 24 points.
