Jean Pascal (26-1-0) defeated Chad Dawson (29-1-0) via Technical Decision (TD) to retain his WBC World Light Heavyweight title and win the IBO Light Heavyweight title belts.
The fight was stopped in the 11th Round after an accidental clash of heads opened a deep cut above Dawson’s right eye and prevented him from continuing to fight.
The judges’ score cards were 108-101 and 106-103 (twice), all in favor of Pascal.
