FIBA World Championship 2010 | Preliminary Round Day 1 Results and Video Highlights

It’s the first day of the preliminary round of the 2010 FIBA World Championship!

For day one (August 28) results, 12 basketball games are set to happen at various arenas in Turkey starting at 16h00 (GMT+3). All of the 24 teams will play on their respective groups.

Most of each participating countries’ superstars are not going to play in this tournament because of injuries, other commitments while are others have their own personal reasons.

Which teams are going to get the early lead in the 2010 FIBA World Championship bracket position within their groups? Can the top ranked teams take game 1?

Australia vs. Jordan
