While Joseph Benavidez, “Joe B-Wan Kenobi” from United States of America, the #3 Bantamweight in the world as ranked by Sherdog has a mixed martial arts record of 12 wins (3 by way of knock out) and 1 loss. His last fight was a 2nd Round Submission win over Miguel Torres at WEC 47, March 2010.
The Cruz vs Benavidez 2 video rematch will be a World Extreme Cagefighting title match with Cruz’s WEC belt at stake.
On their first fight at WEC 42, Cruz won over Benavidez via Unanimous Decision making him the number one contender for the WEC Bantamweight title that Brian Bowles held back then.
