The Anderson Silva vs Chael Sonnen fight video is set to take place on August 7, 2010 live at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California, USA and on PPV (Pay-Per-View).
Anderson Silva, “The Spider“, from Brazil, the #1 Middleweight and the top pound-for-pound MMA fighter in the world as ranked by Sherdog has a mixed martial arts record of 26 wins (15 by way of knock out, KO) and 4 losses. He’s the current UFC Middleweight Champion and he just came off a Unanimous Decision win over Demian Maia on Silva vs Maia at UFC 112, April 2010.
While Chael Sonnen from United States of America, the #2 Middleweight in the world as ranked by Sherdog has a mixed martial arts record of 24 wins (7 by way of knock out), 10 losses and 1 draw. His last fight was a Unanimous Decision win over Nate Marquardt, February 2010.
The Silva vs Sonnen video will be an Ultimate Fighting Championship title match with Silva’s UFC belt at stake.
Silva’s performance against Maia on his last fight disappointed UFC President, Dana White. After that, White warned Anderson that he will cut him from the UFC if he fights the same way he did in that event in Abu Dhabi.
“I’m telling you right now, if he acts like that again in the ring, I will cut him,” said White. “I don’t care if he’s the pound for pound best fighter in the world. I don’t care if he’s the middleweight champion.”
Will Silva repeat his disappointing clowning performance and be cut out of the UFC? Or will he show an amazing performance against the number two middleweight, Chael Sonnen, who trashed talked him leading up to this event. Check out Sonnen trash-talking Silva.
