According to media sources, LeBron James will announce formally his decision on where he will play for the upcoming seasons of his career on “The Decision” that will be aired live stream on July 8, 2010, Thursday at 9 PM ET on ESPN.
The big announcement will take place at the Boys and Girls Club in Greenwich, Connecticut. The program will have sponsors and the proceeds will go to the Boys and Girls Club of America, according to the media source. James has supported that charity in the past during events over various All-Star Weekends.
James is the on the top of the 2010 NBA free agents list.
The Cleveland Cavaliers star is the 2009 and 2010 NBA Regular Season MVP, 2006 and 2008 All-Star Game MVP, 2008 Scoring Champion, 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year and a six-time All-Star.
On the recent progress in the free agency market, most of the top free agent prospects already agreed to sign to their chosen NBA team. Stoudemire in New York Knicks, Boozer in Chicago Bulls, Nowitzki back in Dallas Mavericks, Wade and Bosh in Miami Heat, and others.
