LeBron James Joins Miami Heat

Finally, the King of Akron made his decision on where he will play the next years of his NBA career.

LeBron James said he will join the Miami Heat in his exclusive interview on the ESPN special, “The Decision“.

“I can’t say it was always in my plans, because I never thought it was possible,” James said. “But the things that the Miami Heat franchise have done, to free up cap space and be able to put themselves in a position this summer to have all three of us, it was hard to turn down. Those are two great players, two of the greatest players that we have in this game today.”

The top free agent in probably the biggest free agency in basketball history finally made his career changing decision after the tough weeks of speculations.

The three All-Star big pieces; LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami Heat are a tough new “Big Three” to beat.

The three entered the NBA in 2003 as the 1st, 5th and 4th overall picks in different teams. Wade won an NBA title in 2006 along with Shaq. They were also Olympic teammates in the 2008 where they got the gold medal and now they are going to be on the same NBA team.

James already won two regular season Most Valuable Player awards, two All-Star MVPs, a Scoring Champion and a Rookie of the Year. He still doesn’t have a Defensive Player of the Year award but that’s not the focus right now.

An NBA Championship ring is the ultimate goal and with this newly formed Big Three in Miami Heat; James, Wade and Bosh, the trophy is possibly at reach. Still got to watch out for the hungry reigning NBA Finals MVP, Kobe Bryant, who’s targets his second 3-peat.
