A few months ago, LeBron James filed papers to change his jersey number from 23 to 6 to honor the greatest basketball player of all-time, Michael Jordan, who’s currently the Bobcats majority owner and the cover of NBA 2k11.
Well based on Friday night’s celebration video, that you can watch below, of the Miami Heat welcoming the newest and probably the toughest trio of basketball superstars in history and also based on the what’s currently available at the online NBA Store, looks like King James will be on a new number.
LeBron James will wear jersey number 6 for the upcoming season as a Miami Heat member while Chris Bosh will wear number 1. Dwyane Wade stays with his jersey number 3.
After a tough few weeks for the top 2010 NBA free agents as to where they will play for the next few seasons of their professional careers, speculations finally ended when they decided. Bosh team-up with Wade first then LeBron James joins the Miami Heat as announced in “The Decision“.
