He is a former unified IBO, WBA, WBO and IBF World Lightweight Champion. His last fight was a Unanimous Decision loss against Paulie Malignaggi on Diaz vs Malignaggi 2, December 2009.
The Marquez vs Diaz 2 video rematch will be a lightweight division title match with Marquez’s WBO and WBA belts at stake.
