Brief intro about this event. Liddell is supposedly set to fight Ortiz in a match between the two TUF 11 coaches however, Ortiz withdrew from the bout due to a neck surgery. Dana White replaced him with Rich Franklin as the new coach for the series and Liddell faces Franklin on this event.
