The Chuck Liddell vs Rich Franklin fight video is set to take place on June 12, 2010 live at the General Motors Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and on PPV (Pay-Per-View).
Chuck Liddell, “The Iceman” from United States of America has a mixed martial arts record of 21 wins (13 by way of knock out, KO) and 7 losses. He’s a former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and his last fight was a 1st Round Technical Knock Out loss against Mauricio Rua, April 2009.
While Rich Franklin, “Ace” also from the United States of America has a mixed martial arts record of 26 wins (14 by way of knock out), 5 losses and 1 no contest. He’s a former UFC Middleweight Champion and his last fight was a 1st Round Technical Knock Out loss against Vitor Belfort, September 2009.
The Liddell vs Franklin video will be an Ultimate Fighting Championship non-title match.
UFC Hall of Famer, Liddell, is supposed to face Tito Ortiz in this event as a match between the The Ultimate Fighter Season 11 coaches. However, Ortiz withdrew from the bout due to a neck surgery.
Because of that, Dana White replaced him with Rich Franklin as coach that was revealed in TUF 11 Episode 10. Liddell lost four out of his last five fights, can he still win this one at this stage of his career? Or will Franklin beat the Hall of Famer for a huge career booster?
