Paul Williams, “The Punisher“, from United States of America, the #7 Pound-for Pound in the world as ranked by “The Ring” has a current professional record of 38 wins (27 by way of knock out, KO) and 1 loss. He’s a former two-time WBO World Welterweight Champion and his last fight was a Majority Decision win over Sergio Martinez, December 2009.
While Kermit Cintron, “The Killer“, from Puerto Rico has a current professional record of 32wins (28 by way of knock out, KO), 2 losses and 1 draw. He’s a former Interim WBO Welterweight and IBF World Welterweight Champion and his last fight was a 5th Round Referee Technical Decision win over Juliano Ramos, October 2009.
The Williams vs Cintron video will be a junior middleweight division match.
Paul Williams is considered by many to be the most “avoided fighter in the world”. His only loss so far was from Carlos Quintana who recently lost in the Berto vs Quintana. Williams already avenged his loss in a rematch four months later.
While for Kermit Cintron, his two current losses came from only one boxer, Antonio Margarito, who’s also fighting on May 8 in another boxing event in the Margarito vs Garcia.

Paul Williams (39-1-0) won over Kermit Cintron (32-3-1) via 4th Round split Technical Decision (TD).
Cintron unintentionally fell out of the ring in the fourth round and hit the arena floor. Because of this, he wasn’t allowed to continue fighting.
On two of the judges’ score cards, Williams was ahead at the time of stoppage and was declared the winner. According to media sources, Cintron will file a complaint to change the decision to a No Contest bout claiming he wasn’t given the five minute recovery time allowed under California rules.
The judges’ score cards were 40-36, 39-37 and 36-40, two in favor of Williams.
