Boxing star Antonio Margarito is back on the boxing scene after more than a year as he faces Roberto Garcia for the vacant WBC International Super Welterweight title belt.

Antonio Margarito, “Tijuana Tornado”, a Mexican-American boxer has a current professional record of 37 wins (27 by way of knock out, KO), 6 losses and 1 no contest. He’s a former IBF, WBO, WBA World Welterweight Champion and WBA World Welterweight Super Champion. His last fight was a 9th Round Technical Knock Out loss against Shane Mosley on Margarito vs Mosley, January 2009.
While Roberto Garcia, “La Amenaza“, from Mexico has a current professional record of 28 wins (21 by way of knock out, KO) and 2 losses. He just came off a 3rd Round Technical Knock Out win over Jose Medina, March 2010.
The Margarito vs Garcia video will be a super welterweight division title match for the WBC belt.
Margarito’s boxing license was suspended for at least a year on February 10, 2009 after the controversy about his use of illegal hand wraps prior to his fight with Mosley.
Now, Antonio Margarito is back to fight again and on a higher weight division against Garcia. Will the return of the Tijuana Tornado be successful in this class?

Antonio Margarito (38-6-0) defeated Roberto Garcia (28-3-0) via Unanimous Decision (UD) to win the vacant WBC International Super Welterweight title belt.
Margarito showed everyone that he’s back. He dominated Garcia round after round, even knocking him down on the first round using his quick combinations and aggressiveness.
The judges’ score cards were 99-89, 100-88 and 99-90, all in favor of Margarito.
