Two NBA teams, one goal, to be the NBA Champions. After defeating their opponents in the earlier rounds of the 2010 NBA playoffs, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics once again face each other in the NBA Finals best-of-seven series.
The 2010 NBA Finals game series is set to start on June 3, 2010 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, USA for the first game.
The Los Angeles Lakers became the 2010 Western Conference Champions after defeating their playoff opponents; Lakers vs Thunder on First Round, Lakers vs Jazz on West Semis and Lakers vs Suns on West Finals.
On the other hand, the Boston Celtics became the 2010 Eastern Conference Champions after defeating their playoff opponents; Celtics vs Heat on First Round, Cavaliers vs Celtics on East Semis and Magic vs Celtics on East Finals.

This is a rematch between the Kobe Bryant-led LA team and the Kevin Garnett-led Celtics team. They first met in the NBA Finals in 2008 wherein Boston became the NBA Champions. Now, the Lakers are back in their third straight NBA Finals appearance in the last three seasons. LA won the Larry O’Brien Championship trophy in 2009.
This is starting to become the revival of the old Lakers vs Celtics rivalry or better referred as the Magic vs Bird rivalry.
