Tiger Woods New Nike Commercial Ad

After what happened to Tiger Woods in 2009 that led to his subsequent revelations about his private life, he took a leave of absence from golf late last year and had a stint in rehab.

Few months after, ESPN Network and Golf Channel conducted Tiger Woods first one-on-one exclusive interviews since the incident.

Tiger Woods is going to return to professional golf competition this Thursday and on April 7, 2010, one day prior to Woods’ return, Nike Inc. began airing TV commercial featuring the great golfer.

Tiger Woods New Nike Commercial Ad with voice-over of Earl Woods

This is Tiger Woods’ first television commercial since the incident that happened to him last year.

The thirty seconds Tiger Woods Nike ad is shot in black and white. As the commercial begins, Woods is on the center as the camera zooms in slightly to square him in the frame.

A voice-over can be heard on the background that belongs to Tiger Wood’s late father, Earl Woods, who passed away in 2006. In the voice recording, Earl Woods says,

Tiger, I am more prone to be inquisitive, to promote discussion. I want to find out what your thinking was. I want to find out what your feelings are. And did you learn anything.

During the Tiger Woods Nike Commercial, he wears a cap with Nike logo. He doesn’t utter a word and just remains standing in front of the camera throughout the commercial. It ends with the scene fading to black and the Nike logo appearing centered on the screen without the “Just Do It” Nike slogan.
