Michigan State made it to their eighth Final Four appearance when MSU beat Tennessee in a very tight Regional Finals game. The Spartans already won two national titles – one during the 1979 Magic vs Bird rivalry and another in 2000.
The Michigan State Spartans were the runner-up last season and now, they’re just two games away for that championship title. Without star Kalin Lucas, will Spartans’ Durrell Summers, Raymar Morgan and Draymond Green step-up another notch? Can coach Tom Izzo lead the team to victory?
On the other side, Butler’s quest upon reaching their first Final Four appearance is not a joke. Butler beat Kansas State, the #2 seed in West, in their Regional Finals. Also, Butler beat Syracuse, #1 seed, on the Sweet 16 Round.
Can the Bulldogs’ Gordon Hayward, Shelvin Mack, Ronald Nored, Willie Veasley and the others handle tough match-up situation against the Spartans?

Butler Bulldogs beat Michigan State Spartans with a final score of 52-50. It was a very tight Final Four game between the two teams, also a low-scoring one decided on the final minutes of the regulation.
Gordon Hayward carried the Bulldogs’ scoring load with 19 points coupled with nine rebounds including a rebound with 2 seconds left to seal the game. Shelvin Mack added 14 points although he spent most of the second half on the bench due to leg cramps.
