Floyd Mayweather, Jr. (41-0-0) defeated Shane Mosley (46-6-0) via Unanimous Decision (UD).
Mosley won the first two rounds of the bout by landing powerful right shots on Mayweather even rocking him on the second round but that’s all about it.
On the next 10 rounds, Floyd adjusted pretty well and out-boxed Shane. Mayweather connected his quick left jab then hard right straight combination on Mosley’s face precisely.
Overall, Mayweather landed better shots while noticeably, Mosley lacked the left jabs that De La Hoya successfully executed when he fought Floyd. Shane seemed too hesitant to throw punches after his good performance on the second round.
Floyd Mayweather, Jr. so far has a perfect professional boxing record at 41 wins.
The judges’ score cards were 118-110 and 119-109 (twice), all in favor of Mayweather.
