Alfredo Angulo (18-1-0) defeated Joel Julio (35-4-0) via 11th Round Technical Knock Out (TKO) in 1 minute and 39 seconds to retain his Interim WBO Junior Middleweight title belt.
It was a highly competitive fight throughout with both boxers exchanging punch by punch, but a right cross by Angulo across Julio’s chin midway on the eleventh round floored Joel.
Julio got up, still shaky but wanted to continue fighting. Unfortunately, the referee decided to stop the bout awarding Angulo the win.
