Going back in time, Manny Pacquiao made a notable 2nd round KO (knockout) win over Ricky Hatton last May of 2009. A bout dubbed as “The Battle of the East and West”.
Before that bout, Manny Pacquiao is recognized as The Ring #1 pound for pound fighter in the world while Ricky Hatton puts his IBO World Light Welterweight and The Ring World Light Welterweight title belts on the line.
The fight ended in 2:59 of the second round when Pacquiao knocked out Hatton cold on the center of the boxing ring with a solid left hook. It drew amazement from the crowd as well as boxing analysts, labeling it as one of the greatest one-punch knockout victory in boxing history.
