Off the Denver Nuggets fast break possession in an NBA game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Chauncey Billups spotted teammate J. R. Smith (or Earl Smith III) ready to take off and fly.
Billups threw the ball in the air then Smith did a jaw-dropping 360-degree alley-oop slam dunk off the pass. J.R. Smith just did what’s usually done only in dunk contests.
Well, it’s hard to do that in an actual game so I’ll give him a 10!
The two trailing Wolves players were stunned on their feet as they watched Smith took the 360 flight. The scene happened so fast and what Smith did was unexpected so they haven’t had the chance to block it.
Watch J. R. Smith’s 360-degree alley-oop dunk from Chauncy Billups:
This JR Smith 360-degree alley-oop dunk reminded me of his JR Smith 360-degree alley-oop layup two years ago.
