Gerard Anderson did a VC-like mini-version of the Carter dunk over Weiss on the 1st Round of the 2010 Big West Tournament between Cal State Fullerton (CSUF) and Cal State Northridge (CSUN).

Gerard Anderson, forward from Cal State Fullerton is one of the most athletic dunkers of college basketball.

You can see why on the Anderson dunk over McGhee video below.

Here’s how it happened. On Cal State Northridge’s possession, Cal State Fullerton’s Ray Miller took care of the defense by blocking 2 shot attempts of the opposing team then, Fullerton got the possession, initiated a fast break and Anderson finished it by leaping over Northridge’s 6-foot Vinnie McGhee then slam dunked the ball with one hand.

Cal State Fullerton’s Coach Bob Burton told the Los Angeles Times,

“Guys who say slam dunks are only worth two points are out of it.”

“That was a touchdown.”
