2010 NCAA March Madness Tournament Schedule and Key Dates

65 teams were selected to compete for the 2010 NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Championship Tournament or also known as the March Madness.

The defending champions of 2009, North Carolina Tar Heels was unsuccessful to make it to the 2010 NCAA March Madness Tournament.

For this year, The University of Kansas Jayhawks leads the tournament as the #1 seed overall and in their region while Syracuse University Orange Men, University of Kentucky Wildcats and the Duke University Blue Devils are the top seeds of their respective regions. Opening Round Game – March 16

First Round – March 18 and 19

Second Round – March 20 and 21

Regional Semifinals Round or Sweet 16 Round – March 25 and 26

Regional Finals Round or Elite Eight Round – March 27 and 28

National Semifinals Round or Final Four Round – April 3

National Championship Game or NCAA Finals – April 5
