Finally! Dakdakan Na! (It’s Dunking Time!). It also means “It’s Chatting Time” but I prefer the former meaning because this is a Sports site.

After a few hours of waiting for this site’s online presence, a few minutes of installing WordPress and a few days of tweaking this site’s theme, I now officially launch Dakdakan.com – Your Sports Site.

This site is going to focus on the world of Sports whether it’s about the latest news and events, hottest teams or popular icons. This site will try it’s best to cover every sport it can.

Dakdakan - Your Sports Site

And as for this site’s first post, you’ll notice that I retained the “Hello World!” in the title. The reason for that is because I respect the creators of WordPress that much for creating a great program.

I also retained the initial post content and placed it in a block quote below and Mr WordPress’ comment is still here as the first comment.

Welcome to WordPress. This is your first post. Edit or delete it, then start blogging!

This post is dated February 28, 2010 because it’s the actual date when I successfully installed WordPress on this site. I didn’t delete this post because it has the ID number one and I want to retain it that way. The official first post as I edit and publish it at this moment is March 03, 2010.

Know more about Dakdakan.com and its growth on its About this site page.

Well, that’s all for the first post. Hoping for your support as this site grows.

Welcome to Dakdakan.com! Dakdakan Na! (It’s Dunking Time!)
